THE ORIGIN STORY

How I Got Hooked

If you stop by during the week, chances are Joey will be the one greeting you at the register. His love for fashion started with Y2K throwbacks, the kind of pieces everyone thought they'd thrown out years ago and suddenly wanted back. From there it grew into a genuine feel for streetwear and designer finds, the stuff that moves fast once it hits the floor. He always has an eye on the latest trends and what's in demand each season, which makes him the first to spot when something old is about to be new again. That instinct for timing is what turned a passing interest into a real skill on the floor.

ON THE FLOOR

What I Curate

Joey curates half of our consignment wall, and it shows. He's not just looking for anything trendy, he's looking for the piece that makes someone stop mid-browse and pull it off the rack. Whether it's a logo tee from the right era or a designer piece that still holds its value, he's got a sense for what people actually want to wear, not just what looks good on a hanger. That's what keeps shoppers coming back to see what's new, since half our wall is basically Joey's running bet on what's about to be everywhere.

" If it was cool the first time around, it's about to be cool again. I'm just here early. "

Hunting For

A Y2K graphic tee or throwback piece that still has that early-2000s energy, something that hasn't already been snapped up by everyone else. If it feels like it's about to be everywhere again, Joey's already circling it for the wall.
